Trevor Sinclair makes an observation about West Ham v Manchester United FA Cup replay

The former Manchester City winger revels in Manchester United’s Europa League exit.

Trevor Sinclair has suggested on social networking site Twitter that West Ham United will progress to the semi-finals of the FA Cup this season.

West Ham played out a 1-1 draw with Premier League rivals Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford in the quarter-finals of the prestigious cup competition.

This means that the tie will be decided after a replay at the Boleyn Ground in London.

Former West Ham winger Sinclair believes that Slaven Bilic’s side will progress to the last four because the replay is at the Boleyn Ground.

The former Manchester City winger made the prediction following United’s Europa League last-16 second-leg tie against Liverpool at Old Trafford on Thursday evening.

Louis van Gaal’s side played out a 1-1 draw and got knocked out of the European competition 3-1 on aggregate.

United will take on Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday evening.

The Red Devils are still in with a chance of finishing in the top four, but a defeat in the Manchester derby is going to severely affect their chances of doing so.
