Simon Johnson took to Twitter on Thursday evening to post an emotional tribute to his short career at Leeds United.
Indeed, the 33-year-old, who is still a professional footballer, lived out his dream of playing at Elland Road as a Leeds player.
He only managed a handful of appearances for the Whites, of course, and was loaned out no less than five times.
But Johnson still remembers Leeds fondly and even got a retweet from the club's official Twitter account on Thursday.
As for United now, Steve Evans is guiding the side through somewhat of a purple patch, having won three of their last three Championship games.
The chance to make it four in a row comes during a Yorkshire derby against Huddersfield Town this weekend. Then Leeds face another derby - and a reunion against former manager Neil Warnock.
