Is the Swedish legend joining the Premier League this summer?

Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Paris Saint-Germain superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to The Mirror.

The 34-year-old striker, who turns 35 in October, will be available on a Bosman in a few short months and has been repeatedly linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic denied his reported interest last week, although The Mirror goes on to claim that London is Ibrahimovic's preferred destination should he join an English club.

The Gunners might well be in the market for a world-class goalscorer, with question marks hanging over Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck's capacity to be prolific over the course of a nine-month season.

But, despite being free, the notoriously frugal Arsene Wenger could baulk at the Swede's £250,000-a-week salary demands.

Even at 34, Ibrahimovic remains a lethal marksman, and the former Barcelona man scored four times in helping PSG clinch a Ligue 1 title last week. He has netted 27 goals in 22 league outings this season.

It was reported by The Sun last month that the Hammers might also be interested, but Bilic rubbished the speculation.
