The Swedish legend is expected to leave PSG this summer.
The future of Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been in the news recently. The superstar's contract at Paris Saint-Germain is up this summer and it is widely believed he will leave the French capital for another challenge.
Premier League fans are certainly hoping that the former Barcelona and Inter Milan star will finally make his way to England in his next career move.
One former Liverpool player who believes Zlatan would be a good signing is Gary McAllister. The 51-year-old Scot, who enjoyed an Indian summer in his career during a two-year stint with Liverpool, told Swedish site Expressen this week:
"Yes, it would be a real coup.
"I'm a big fan of Ibrahimovic. He is a tremendous football player. And the Premier League is a league that suits his big personality.
"Although I had hoped that he might have come to us earlier, I think he still has a few years of good football left. And he has a pretty decent resume.
"But everyone in the UK want Zlatan to come to their particular club."
McAllister, who still works as an ambassador for Liverpool, arrived at Anfield at the age of 35 - the same age Zlatan will be in October this year.
Age did not prove a barrier for McAllister at Liverpool - he went on to become a cult icon at the club.
Zlatan might be able to have a similar impact.
