The Merseyside outfit have been drawn against German club Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals of the prestigious European cup competition.
The tie means that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will face his former club Dortmund for the first time since leaving them at the end of last season.

Liverpool defeated Premier League rivals Manchester United in the Europa League last 16, while Dortmund got the better of North London outfit Tottenham Hotspur.
Dortmund are the favourites to win the Europa League this season, but they will be given a run for their money by the Reds.
The Bundesliga outfit eased past Tottenham over two legs in the last 16, winning 3-0 at home before registering a 2-1 victory at White Hart Lane.
