Leeds have won their last three games in the Championship.
Leeds United will be hoping to win their fourth win on the bounce this weekend when they take on West Yorkshire derby rivals Huddersfield Town at Elland Road.
The club are going into the game on the back of three wins on the bounce v Bolton, Cardiff and Blackburn Rovers.
Those wins came after a humbling 4-0 loss at Brighton and Hove Albion. Speaking to Huddersfield Town TV this week the Terriers midfield veteran Dean Whitehead admitted that he would have preferred to have played Leeds when their form was not so good:
"They're a bit up and down. But they have got good players, but so have we, so we'll concentrate on ourselves and hopefully we'll have enough to beat them.
"Yeah (it would have been better to play them a week ago) they've been in a bit of decent form at the moment.
"I'm sure we will work to stop that on Saturday."
Huddersfield come into the game in not as impressive form. They have lost three of their last four games in the Championship and, despite a change in style under the management of David Wanger, Huddersfield are currently just six points off the relegation zone - as the teams below them pick up their own form.
Leeds, who won the reverse fixture earlier in the campaign, will be hoping to continue their good form with a win over their local rivals.
Whitehead and co will be desperate for a good result, to increase their safety in the Championship.
