The Honduran played with the likes of Gareth Bale and Luka Modric.
A young, talented and hungry squad has been doing the trick for Mauricio Pochettino this season as finally Spurs live up to their potential as a squad.
There was a time not long ago when a Harry Redknapp managed side were being tipped for such glory.
That team had talents such as Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Rafael van der Vaart playing for them at one point but Spurs never quite pushed on for the title.
One man who was also a part of that team was Wilson Palacios.
The Honduran international has been speaking to Deporte Total USA about his time with Spurs this week and had this to say about the dressing room at that time:
"Also a nice experience, I played Champions League, being next to one of these (world-class) players motivates you.
"The locker room was very quiet, there was not much ego even knowing the quality of players they were."
Tottenham's lack of ego is certainly a trait that has seemed to continue with this current team. With perhaps the exception of Dele Alli's swagger the rest of Tottenham's team seem to be in the same mould - and it is clearly working on the pitch.
