Don Hutchison reacts on Twitter to Liverpool drawing Borussia Dortmund

The two sides will meet in the quarterfinals after knocking out Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in the last round.

Former Liverpool midfielder Don Hutchison has reacted on Twitter after Liverpool drew Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League.

The two sides will meet in the quarterfinals of the competition after successfully negotiating their way past the last 16 stage.

Liverpool knocked out Manchester United while Dortmund saw off Premier League title contenders Tottenham Hotspur.

Now they are set to face each other in the last eight of the competition after the draw pitted them together on Friday afternoon.

The clash is arguably the glamour pick of the quarterfinal fixtures, with many having both sides as strong favourites to go on and win the tournament.

Of course, the tie has an extra special element to it, with Dortmund being Reds manager Jurgen Klopp’s former team.

It will be the first time the German has faced his old side since leaving them in the summer in what is sure to be an emotional affair.

He spent seven years at the club, in which time he won he won two Bundesliga titles as well as two DFL-Supercup titles and the DFB-Pokal, turning them into serious challengers to Bayern Munich for most of his reign.
