The West Ham stalwart has again been overlooked by Roy Hodgson.
It was expected that the likes of Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell might have made the cut - but it was the absence of Mark Noble that was most frustrating.
Hammers fans have been calling on Noble to get a call-up for some time now but he has never been called up to the England set-up.
Yesterday saw Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater called up instead of him and West Ham fans were again perplexed.
One such Hammers fan happened to be the son of co-owner David Sullivan.
Dave Sullivan Jr posted these two tweets after the England squad was announced yesterday morning:
Clearly he was not pleased to see the West Ham midfielder once again overlooked. Unfortunately for Noble it looks as though his time has gone to get into the England team.
He is currently in some of his best ever form but still finds himself on the fringes of the England set-up.
Perhaps he will never play for England.
