Tottenham will take on Bournemouth at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Owen believes that the North London outfit will pick up all three points from the encounter.
“Spurs are likewise in Europa League action midweek but lost 3-0 to Borussia Dortmund in the first leg in Germany and are likely to play a weaker team in the return leg with Spurs’ Europa League dreams seemingly in tatters,” the former England international write on Betvictor.com.
“The Cherries claimed a third league wins on the spin at the weekend, beating Swansea 3-2 at Dean Court, and are respected but are likely to be out-classed in North London.”
A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Spurs -1 at 7/5 with BetVictor.”
Tottenham are a much better team than Bournemouth, and they will be firm favourites to pick up all three points from the encounter.
The North London outfit are doing well in the Premier League at the moment and are in the running for the title.
Bournemouth appear to be safe from relegation to the Championship, and Eddie Howe’s side will play attacking football at White Hart Lane.
An early goal for the Cherries could make things tricky for Spurs, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side should still have enough to stage a successful comeback.
With league leaders Leicester City in action on Saturday afternoon, pressure will be on Tottenham to get the better of Bournemouth on Sunday.
