The Foxes pair have been rewarded for their excellent seasons.
Jamie Vardy is now a regular in the England set-up and Riyad Mahrez is in the Algeria squad.
But today saw two new members of this collection.
Drinkwater, who has played for England at youth level, has been in fantastic form all season in the heart of Leicester's midfield.
However competition in the central midfield position for England is vast and Drinkwater had an uphill battle getting into the team.
But Roy Hodgson has called him up to the squad for upcoming friendlies with Germany and the Netherlands.
Kante has been a revelation in the Premier League since arriving from Caen in the summer.
The robust midfielder has never represented France at any international level and has previously been approached by Mali to play international football for them. But the Paris born star is now hopeful of a place in the Euro 2016 squad.
There was no doubting how Leicester fans felt about the news. Foxes fans were over the moon for their star pair and expressed their feelings on Twitter...
Drinkwater and Vardy in the England squad. Kante in the France squad. I’ve passed my HGV test. Happy bloody St Patrick’s Day #winning— Stu (@LCFC_STU) March 17, 2016

That England squad is as weak as I can remember it. Happy for Drinkwater though.— Sam Marshall (@Sam_LCFC_90) March 17, 2016
France's midfield is immense. So happy for Kante. #LCFC— Andre Gastbats (@GatsAndBats) March 17, 2016
