Harry Redknapp comments on Everton v Arsenal and praises Romelu Lukaku

Everton are set to host Arsenal at the weekend at Goodison Park.

Harry Redknapp has predicted in the London Evening Standard that Arsenal are in for a tough game against Everton at Goodison Park.

The former Queens Park Rangers manager admits that he can no longer see Arsenal winning the Premier League title, as they have too much ground to make up on Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

And he has warned the things could get worse for Arsenal, unless they are switched on, as Everton have a man in form in Romelu Lukaku.

“I can’t see Arsenal winning it [the title] and if they lose to Everton on Saturday, they are out of the title race, for sure,” Redknapp said. “That’ll be a tough game at Goodison Park with Romelu Lukaku on fire at the moment.

“Should Arsenal lose, Wenger will get it in the neck again from supporters.”

Arsenal are currently 11 points behind Leicester, who top the Premier League table.

Although they have a game in hand, their form has not suggested that they will be capable of closing the gap on the Foxes.

Arsenal will know the scale of the task that awaits them at Goodison Park at the weekend, too, as they were hammered there last season.

Everton beat Arsenal 3-0 in April 2014, and Arsene Wenger’s men will have to be on guard to stop a repeat scoreline happening again this time around.
