Can Manchester United turn around a two goal deficit at Old Trafford this evening?
The Red Devils are 2-0 down from the first leg meeting between the two teams in the Europa League last 16.
A penalty from Daniel Sturridge and second half goal from the excellent Roberto Firmino gave Liverpool the win at Anfield a week ago, and only the heroics of David de Gea that evening kept the tie in reach for United.
Louis van Gaal's men are hoping for a dramatic reversal in fortunes this evening, but must be wary of conceding.
Without an away goal from the first leg, conceding to Liverpool at Old Trafford would mean United would need to score four to progress to the next phase.
The Europa League is often derided but with a Champions League spot up for grabs for the eventual winner of the competition, this has added importance beyond merely pride and bragging rights, while a loss for United here would surely seal Louis van Gaal's fate, with many already believing he is set to be replaced in the summer.
