The striker added another goal to his enormous tally this season, as he met a cross from the right wing with an impossible volley to score past David Ospina.
It was the latest in a long line of goals for him in this campaign, as he continues to flourish alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar.
He could have been an Arsenal player at one stage in the past though, as they made a £40million and one pound bid in an attempt to sign him from Liverpool.
That big was rejected, and widely criticised by many at the time, and Hutchinson was quick to reference it his tweet about Suarez’s goal in the game, while Alan Sugar also tweeted about the bid.
Just goes to show the amateurish behaviour when Arsenal offered 40 million and £1 for Suarez!!— Don Hutchison (@donhutch4) March 16, 2016
Suarez goal was better. The only mistake Wenger made was being too smart offering Liverpool £40,000,001 should have offered £60m— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) March 16, 2016
There’s no denying that Arsene Wenger’s side would love to have Suarez in their forward line now.
It has long been said that they need a world-class striker in their side if they are to compete for honours, and he certainly fits into that category.
