The R's are starting to impress under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, and now sit 11th in the Championship table after three wins in the last four games.
Hasselbaink will be looking to mould his own squad this summer, and whilst the likes of Nasser El Khayati and Conor Washington arrived in January, more new signings will be needed to launch a promotion push next term - but Hasselbaink appears to have one eye on the future too.
The Daily Mail report that QPR have taken Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Eusebio Bancessi on trial, and the youngster took part in an Under-21 game against Brentford on Monday.
Bancessi, 20, came up through the ranks with Portuguese giants Benfica before joining Wolves in 2013, but he has yet to make a first-team appearance for the club, spending time out on loan with Cheltenham Town and Telford United instead.
Now, the pacey wide man has been given a huge opportunity with QPR, and with his contract at Wolves set to expire this summer, QPR could snap him up for nothing if he impresses.
Bancessi, born in Guinea-Bissau, is a speedy wide man with potential, and whilst he may be a gamble and one for the future, Hasselbaink may feel that he can get the best out of him, and land a real bargain for QPR.
