Michael Owen reacts on Twitter to Arsenal's performance

Pundit felt Arsenal played well in defeat to Barcelona.

Arsenal have exited the Champions League at the round of 16 once again, beaten by Barcelona.

They lost 3-1 last night at the Nou Camp, 5-1 on aggregate, with Barcelona looking relaxed at times.

Mohamed Elneny's goal to equalise on the night gave them a minor scare, but they were settled when Luis Suarez scored an excellent volley to extend their aggregate advantage, with Lionel Messi wrapping it up late on.

Former Premier League striker and BT pundit Michael Owen had his say on Arsenal's performance, and despite often being a critic of Arsene Wenger's side, he was positive about their performance.

Arsenal's problem turned out to be in their execution. They created 20 chances in the match, but managed only three on target.

Danny Welbeck should have done better with a big opportunity at 1-1, but really the damage was done in the first leg at The Emirates when they lost 2-0.
