Jed Wallace has expressed how much he enjoyed his loan at Millwall, after being recalled by Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier today.
Wallace has been on loan at The Den since January, and he was originally scheduled to spend another month at the League One club.
However, his excellent form for Neil Harris’ side has convinced Wolves that he could have a part to play at Molineux.
Wolves ended the temporary spell earlier today, but Wallace was quick to announce his hopes that Millwall will be promoted this season.
Thanks for all the messages! Great times at @MillwallFC with a top class bunch of lads. Really hoping for promotion now. See you again— Jed Wallace (@jedwallace62) March 16, 2016
Wallace leaves Millwall with the London side currently sat in fifth place in the League One table.
The 21-year-old played 14 times for the Lions, and he managed to score once during that time.
Wallace struggled to make an impact at Wolves in the early part of the campaign, but he will be hoping to make a positive impression between now and the end of the season.
Wolves’ next match comes against Burnley on Saturday, and it is expected that Wallace will be involved at Turf Moor.
