Celtic fans react on Twitter to David Moyes' comments about becoming Bhoys boss

Celtic fans appear to be split over David Moyes' potential move to become their new manager.

On Tuesday, manager David Moyes told PLZ Soccer that he would never rule out a move to become the new boss of Celtic.

The Bhoys sit top of the Scottish Premiership but are having to fend off a spirited fight for the title from Aberdeen, with Ronny Deila coming in for stern criticism this season.

The Norwegian, who won the Scottish Premiership and League Cup last season, saw his side crash out of both the Champions League and Europa League before the end of 2015, piling the pressure on him after a series of tepid performances.

Many believe Deila, 40, could lose his job this summer, and supporters have been considering who could head to Glasgow and replace him - even though he remains in the job and is in a fierce race for the Premiership title.

On Tuesday, former Celtic defender David Moyes told PLZ Soccer that he would be open to becoming Celtic manager at some point, fuelling talk of him replacing Deila at the end of the season.

Now, Celtic fans have been reacting on Twitter to Moyes' comments, with many suggesting that they would love to see the former Everton and Manchester United boss make the move back to Celtic Park.

However, others aren't quite so sure, and there were even comments from fans claiming that Moyes was in fact being disrespectful for talking about the Celtic job whilst Deila is still in the dugout.
