Bournemouth midfielder Matt Ritchie has told Goals on Sunday, broadcast on March 13 at 12.15pm, that he rates Tottenham Hotspur as the best side that his club have faced this season.
They eventually fell to a 5-1 defeat, with a hat-trick from Harry Kane and goals from Mousa Dembele and Erik Lamela doing the damage, and it left Bournemouth sitting towards the bottom of the standings with eight points from 10 fixtures.
Eddie Howe's side have since recovered and currently sit 13 points above the relegation zone and while Ritchie has acknowledged the threat that Spurs will offer at White Hart Lane on Sunday afternoon, he feels that it could be a closely-fought game.
Ritchie said: "It will be a tough game. I'd probably say that they are the best team we have played this season.
"They are a very good side and press high up the pitch, and we are in for a game, but I am sure that they will be wary of us as well."
With Spurs playing a day later than leaders Leicester City, they could find themselves eight points adrift of the Foxes, increasing the pressure ahead of the contest in North London.
If Bournemouth can record a surprise success, they will move to 41 points, which would realistically secure their top-flight status for another 12 months.
