Ex-Tottenham midfielder writes off Leicester’s title chances, disagrees with Carragher and Koeman

Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Manchester City make up the Premier League top four.

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Micky Hazard has claimed on social networking site Twitter that Leicester City will not win the Premier League title this season.

Hazard made the comments both during and after Leicester’s game against Newcastle United on Monday evening.

Claudio Ranieri’s side got the better of relegation candidates Newcastle 1-0 at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes are now five points clear at the top of the Premier League table, with Tottenham second.

Arsenal are currently third in the standings, 11 points behind Leicester, but Arsene Wenger’s side have a game in hand.

Manchester City are 12 points off the pace, and Manuel Pellegrini’s team also have a game in hand.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher and Southampton manager Ronald Koeman both have written off the chances of Arsenal and City winning the league title this season, as reported by Sky Sports.

Former Tottenham midfielder Hazard, though, believes that the Gunners and the Citizens are very much in the hunt for the championship.
