Not content with knocking out Aston Villa at the weekend with a match winning brace, Harry Kane has been boxing in order to keep his fitness up.
The Tottenham striker and England international posted a short video clip of his workout onto Twitter, and came in for some stick from teammate for club and country, Dele Alli.
After nominating Eric Dier to take on boxer Anthony Joshua after a similar video earlier this year, Alli jokingly suggested Kane will soon be taking on UFC fighter Connor McGregor.
Spurs top scorer Kane was determined to jab back, joking that Alli was 'scared' to include the twitter accounts for Joshua and McGregor on his tweet.
While simply a silly back and forth between teammates, it does reinforce a couple of important points about this Tottenham team.
1) The team spirit is high and the players are at ease, joking publicly mid-title challenge. Arsenal's players would not dare do the same right now amid their poor run of results for fear of annoying the fanbase who are already tired of their charades on social media. Keep winning, and Tottenham's starlets can carry on having their fun.
2) You might think Harry Kane would be content with his lot after an impressive weekend display, but he is desperate to kick on and improve his fitness, which allows him to perform at the high levels he does. The individual sparring sessions no doubt pay their dividends on the pitch with his tireless running.
