The Italian has made 29 appearances in all competitions for the club this season, and his accomplished displays have seen him tipped by some for a first call-up to his country's national squad.
Reports in January suggested that the Gunners were interested in his signature, and his agent Joao Santos has now confirmed that the North London club, along with Real Madrid, have been in touch with him about the player.
Santos told Radio Kiss, as quoted by the Daily Mail: "Interest from Arsenal? It's true. After the game against Palermo, compliments arrived from Real Madrid as well.
"Only compliments, nothing more. But it's pleasing to receive expressions of respect from one of the most prestigious clubs in the world. For the future, we'll wait for the end of the season.
"Jorginho wants to win the Scudetto with Napoli, he's enthusiastic about these last nine finals. I want to reiterate that his priority is Napoli. Italy call-up? I know Antonio Conte has his hierarchy. We'll see if he can find a way in."
The Brazilian-born player made his name as a central midfielder with the ability to create from deep at Italian side Verona, and moved on to Napoli after three years, where he has become a regular in the last two seasons.
Although Santos insisted that Jorginho's focus remains on Napoli for the remainder of the current season, the pair no doubt will be hoping that the midfielder is able to break into Antonio Conte's squad for Euro 2016 and put himself in the shop window for the summer transfer market.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have signed just one first-team outfield player since the end of last season, central midfielder Mohamed Elneny arriving in January.
