Here is how we predict Manchester United will line up against Liverpool later this week:
Manchester United welcome Liverpool to Anfield for the second leg of their Europa League last 16 tie on Thursday, with Louis van Gaal’s side 2-0 down after the first clash.
Goals from Daniel Sturridge and Roberto Firmino at Anfield gave Liverpool a big advantage and if United play the way they did in that clash the Reds will come out easy victors.
United certainly showed improvement when they took on West Ham United on Sunday so it will be interesting to see how the hosts start a game they will know they dare not concede in.
In early team news, United are without Luke Shaw, Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young while there are doubts regarding Phil Jones, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Donald Love.
United will have to put in a similar performance to the one that saw them overcome FC Midtjylland in the last round with a show of constant attacking football while also keeping Liverpool’s impressive forward line at bay.
