The Republic of Ireland assistant manager was at Villa Park to see Spurs win 2-0.

Roy Keane looked deeply unimpressed at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon as he sat in the stands during Aston Villa's clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Republic of Ireland assistant manager may have simply been caught at a bad moment but, if he was grimacing at the football, it was likely while watching Villa not Tottenham...

Keane was probably hoping to watch Ciaran Clark but the Irish defender didn't feature as Villa lost 2-0.

Harry Kane scored twice for Spurs as the north London side closed to within two points behind Premier League leaders Leicester City.

Leicester have a game in hand over Tottenham and host Newcastle United on Monday night. Aston Villa, meanwhile, remain bottom of the table and look just as likely to go down as they did months ago.

Remi Garde's men travel to Swansea City next Saturday evening, while Tottenham host Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League on Thursday night.
