Sol Bamba makes an interesting observation about Leeds United.
Leeds United defender Sol Bamba has told The Yorkshire Post that there are two extremes at the club.
“In Leeds, in one week you are talking about going up, in another you are talking about going down,” said Bemba. “We need to try to win as many games as possible and see where that is going to take us.”
Leeds are one of the biggest clubs in England, and there is a lot of interest in them even from outside their fanbase.
The West Yorkshire outfit have not featured in the Premier League since 2004, but at the start of every season there is hope among the fans that they would end up in the Championship playoffs at least.
Over the course of this season, there have been times when Leeds have looked like they could push for a top-six finish in the table.
Until Leeds’s recent winning run, there were fears that they could get dragged into a relegation fight.
Given that the Whites do not have as strong a squad as clubs such as Sheffield Wednesday and Derby County do, Steve Evans’s side should now be focusing on a top-10 finish and not aiming for the playoffs.
