Confirmed: Leicester v Newcastle line-ups: Mitrovic starts

Leicester City host Newcastle United this evening.

Leicester City host Newcastle United this evening in a match which has real importance at both ends of the Premier League table.

The Foxes are currently in first position but have seen their five point gap at the top cut to two by Tottenham Hotspur, but can re-extend their advantage by winning this game in hand.

Claudio Ranieri's side have been the league's surprise package and have lost just one of their last 10 games, a last minute defeat to Arsenal.

Opponents Newcastle United are under pressure, sitting in 19th place with 10 games of their own to play.

They hope to gain inspiration from new boss Rafa Benitez, who replaced Steve McClaren last week. Benitez was fired by Real Madrid earlier this season, and has experience managing in the Premier League with Liverpool and Chelsea.

Newcastle have lost their last three games, and won just six matches all season.
