Sheffield Wednesday beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 last Saturday.
With Wednesday 2-0 up in their match against Forest last Saturday, they managed to retain possession for well over a minute.
The likes of Barry Bannan and Fernando Forestieri were influential in the patient build-up, as Wednesday frustrated Forest’s players with their ability on the ball.
Carvalhal has been promoting a passing style all season and he was clearly proud of the stylish football that his players produced at the City Ground.
Carvalhal has made a wonderful impression at Wednesday during his first season in charge.
Although the Portuguese boss has been backed with funds, he has still helped a cosmopolitan squad gel together very successful and masterminded an excellent campaign.
Wednesday are currently in the play-off spots in the Championship table and their performance against Forest highlighted their quality.
The Owls ended up winning 3-0 against the Reds, even after being reduced to 10 men, to further strengthen their position inside the top six of the Championship table.
And Wednesday supporters showed their affection for Carvalhal when he sent them the message earlier today.
