Tottenham Hotspur beat Aston Villa 2-0 at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon, with midfielder Dele Alli picking up two assists in their latest win.
Alli's first assist came when he found striker Harry Kane with a superb quickly-taken free kick, and he supplied Kane for his second goal too, playing an inch perfect pass into the England forward's path for the clincher.
Alli, 19, has now taken his tally for the season to seven goals and eight assists, having enjoyed a quite remarkable debut season for Tottenham.
However, not everybody was impressed with his performance against Aston Villa. Alli has been dealing with an ankle injury of late, and still didn't look totally back to full fitness on Sunday.
Alli lost the ball on a number of occasions, with his first touch deserting him regularly, but he was able to produce two moments of magic with the assists.
Tottenham fans took to Twitter after the game to comment on Alli's performance, suggesting that he was 'sloppy' at Villa Park, but was able to offer 'astounding' moments, particularly with his pass for Kane's first goal.
It's a sign of a good player when they can still have a positive impact on a game even when out-of-sorts, and that's exactly what Alli was against Villa - and Spurs fans agreed with that assessment, as seen with the tweets posted below...
At 19 years of age, the maturity & awareness shown by Alli for our opener today was nothing short of astounding.— Ashley Hover (@AshHover) March 13, 2016

Some talk about lack of maturity that Alli has shown at times, but the awareness & vision for the first goal to find Kane, priceless!#THFC— Ricky Sacks (@RickSpur) March 13, 2016
Job done today thought alli still doesn't look at his best but still sets up 2 goals not bad #coys— iain jackson (@iainjackson3) March 13, 2016
Alli was poor today. Caught in possession so many times yet still managed 2 assists!#coys— Alan Spencer (@ALSPURS) March 13, 2016
I don't think Dele Alli looked 100% fit today. He also looks tired. Poch has played him too much, been saying it all season, only 19 #COYS— Harry Charalambous (@PrimeSpur1992) March 13, 2016
Only negative today was Alli's performance. Although a touch of magic for the first goal. He's magic you know.... Mauricio Pochettino.— JT (@JamesTaylorAG) March 13, 2016
Brilliant from Alli to play that freekick quickly. Makes up for his rather poor performance.— Jake. (@YedIin) March 13, 2016
