Andy Gray and Richard Keys predict Leicester v Newcastle

Leicester City - King Power Stadium

Leicester City and Newcastle United will face each other in the Premier League this evening.

Former Aston Villa and Everton striker Andy Gray has predicted on Sport360.com that Leicester City will win against Newcastle United at home this evening.

Leicester will take on Newcastle at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League.

“Newcastle could have done without a trip to Leicester this weekend because, even if Benitez gives them that new coach rush and inspires them to raise their game, I think Claudio Ranieri’s team have got too much for them,” Gray wrote on Sport360.com. “2-0.”

Well-known sports presenter Richard Keys has also backed Leicester to pick up all three points from this evening’s encounter.

“I am not saying Benitez is the wrong guy I just don’t think it matters whether it is him, Steve McClaren, Brendan Rodgers, David Moyes or anybody else,” Keys wrote on Sport360.com.

“Things aren’t going to change in the long term unless there are big changes within the club. As for Monday, Benitez will give them a lift and I expect a reaction but they won’t beat Leicester. 1-0.”

Leicester are in great form at the moment, and the Foxes will head into this evening’s match as favourites.

Playing at home will also give Claudio Ranieri’s side an advantage, and it would be a surprise if they slip up.

Newcastle have a new manager in charge, Rafael Benitez, who will be keen on starting his tenure at the Magpies on a positive note.

A win at Leicester is unlikely, and perhaps Benitez will set up his team so as not to concede and try to pick up a point.

Leicester haven't done the double over Newcastle since the 1974-75 campaign, despite being in the same division in 24 different seasons since then.
