Sir Alex Ferguson predicts Premier League title winner, top four

Leicester City, Arsenal and West Ham United will finish in the top four, says Sir Alex Ferguson.

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has told The Sunday Times that Leicester City will win the Premier League title this season.

Leicester are at the top of the league table at the moment, with Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Manchester City currently second, third and fourth respectively in the standings.

“Of course they (Leicester) can,” Ferguson told The Sunday Times. “I believe they will win it with three games to spare.”

Ferguson has also told The Sunday Times that Leicester midfielder N’Golo Kante has been the best player in the Premier League this season “by a long way”.

The former United boss has predicted Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United to finish in the top four.

It is quite a bold prediction from Ferguson regarding Leicester’s title chances, but could it come true?

The way the Foxes are playing at the moment, it should not come as a surprise if they do not lose any Premier League match between now and the end of the season.

Tottenham, Arsenal and City will continue to push them, but it is now in Leicester’s hands.

West Ham’s recent results have put them in a good position to finish in the Champions League places, and perhaps Ferguson’s prediction about the London outfit could come true.
