Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing Jordan Henderson from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Jordan Henderson from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Tottenham are planning to make a sensational £25 million move for the Liverpool captain.

According to the report, Spurs chiefs think that they may have a real chance of recruiting the England international midfielder as they can offer him Champions League football.

Blockbuster move

Henderson has been on the books of Liverpool since 2011 and has a contract with the Reds until June 2020.

The former Sunderland midfielder is an important player in Jurgen Klopp’s side, and it is unlikely that the Merseyside outfit will be willing to enter into any negotiation with Spurs.

Liverpool are unlikely to finish in the top four of the Premier League this campaign, but they will be looking to challenge for the Champions League places next season.

Henderson is valued highly at Anfield, and Spurs would find it tough to negotiate a deal for him with the Reds.
