Queens Park Rangers fans react on Twitter to Sebastian Polter's performance against Brentford

Queens Park Rangers beat Brentford 3-0 at Loftus Road yesterday.

Sebastian Polter appears to be winning Queens Park Rangers supporters around with his performances under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

Polter joined QPR from Mainz last summer and his initial start at Loftus Road was not encouraging.

The German front-man found the net just once in his first 10 appearances for Rangers, and a series of poor performances saw him drop out of contention.

At that stage many QPR supporters were fearing that the move would not work out, but Polter has started to show his quality more recently.

The 24-year-old has been a regular starter since Hasselbaink took charge and he has repaid his manager’s faith.

Polter has netted five goals in 14 matches, and he scored in Rangers’ 3-0 win against Brentford this weekend.

The target man has held off the challenge of January signing Conor Washington to establish his place in the team, and QPR fans are starting to be won over.

Polter put in a great display against Brentford, and here is the best reaction for R’s supporters on social media site Twitter to that performance.
