Norwich City managed to pick up a 0-0 draw with Manchester City yesterday.
Nathan Redmond has posted an ominous message on Twitter after he picked up an injury during Norwich City’s match against Manchester City.
Redmond had to be substituted off in the first half of the fixture despite trying to battle through the pain.
The winger is now set for tests to discover the severity of his problem, but judging by his message on social media last night Redmond is fearing the worst.
Thanks for the messages and wishes. Hoping it's not as bad as it seemed but will find out more over the course of the weekend/next week— Redz (@NathanRedmond22) March 12, 2016
In Redmond’s absence, Norwich still managed to pick up a 0-0 draw against Manchester City, after putting in a much improved defensive performance.
Alex Neil’s side were solid throughout, as they held off the threat from the likes of David Silva and Sergio Aguero.
Although they were not able to pick up the victory, the Canaries still managed to move closer to safety and Leon McKenzie was delighted with his former side’s showing.
Today's efforts by the team, staff and fans was top class. This is the spirit @NorwichCityFC need to stay up. When you all play as one.— Leon Mckenzie (@LeonMckenzie1) March 12, 2016
Norwich are now only in the relegation zone on goal-difference, with their next three matches - against West Bromwich Albion, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace - likely to shape their season.
