Matt Holland and Andy Gray predict Manchester United v West Ham tie

Manchester United 3

Manchester United and West Ham United will face each other in the FA Cup today.

Former Aston Villa and Everton striker Andy Gray has predicted on Sport360.com that West Ham United will win against Manchester United today.

West Ham will take on Premier League rivals United away from home at Old Trafford in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Gray has backed the Hammers to progress to the semi-finals of the prestigious cup competition courtesy of a narrow 1-0 win.

“Another horror for United in midweek when Liverpool were too good for them in the Europa League,” the former Scotland international wrote on Sport360.com.

“West Ham will really fancy this. Slaven Bilic has always picked a strong side for FA Cup games and he will do that again. 0-1.”

Former Ipswich Town midfielder Matt Holland has also backed the Hammers to go through, but only after a replay.

Man United just look bereft of confidence at the moment,” the former West Ham prospect wrote on Marathonbet.co.uk.

“I think West Ham are good enough to get a draw at the very least and if they do take the tie back to Old Trafford there’s no reason why they can’t progress.”

West Ham are in better form than United at the moment, and they should head into the game at Old Trafford with confidence.

The London outfit are taking the FA Cup seriously this season, and manager Slaven Bilic will want his players to give their all against the Red Devils.

Louis van Gaal’s side should not be underestimated, though, as playing at home will give them an advantage and motivate them to raise their game.
