Leeds players react on Twitter after beating Blackburn, including Bellusci and Diagouraga

Leeds beat Blackburn 2-1 at Ewood Park on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds United made it three Championship victories in a row with a 2-1 win away at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon.

The Whites recorded consecutive wins over Bolton Wanderers and Cardiff City, and now a third win in a row takes them up to 12th place in the Championship table.

Sol Bamba put Leeds in front with a volley from Alex Mowatt's corner, before Mirco Antenucci made it 2-0 with a deft finish on the counter attack. Rovers hit back with a late goal through Simeon Jackson, but Leeds managed to hang on and claim a 2-1 win.

Steve Evans is now putting together a real run of form, and Leeds now sit 12 points away from the play-off places, and a comfortable 11 points away from the relegation zone.

After the final whistle at Ewood Park, Leeds players took to Twitter to give their reactions to the win, with defender Giuseppe Bellusci - who picked up a booking during the game - stating that it was a massive three points.

Midfielder Alex Mowatt posted a picture of the Leeds players celebrating after one of the goals, whilst January signing Toumani Diagouraga praised the fans for their 'unbelievable support' at Ewood Park.
