Nottingham Forest lost against Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship on Saturday.

Nottingham Forest fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the performance of Gary Gardner against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday afternoon.

Gardner, who joined Forest on loan from Premier League outfit Aston Villa in the January transfer window, started the Championship game at the City Ground and played for 66 minutes.

The 23-year-old midfielder, who is in his second loan spell at the Reds, did not make a huge impact, as the home team lost 3-0.

During his time on the pitch, the Englishman took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 90%, created one chance, attempted two dribbles, won 50% of his tackles and 100% of his headers, and made one interception.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, hosts Forest had 50% of the possession, took 14 shots of which five were on target, and earned eight corners.
