Vito Mannone has a message for Fabio Borini ahead of Newcastle clash

Newcastle United and Sunderland will face each other in the Premier League this month.

Sunderland goalkeeper Vito Mannone has taken to social networking site Twitter to urge his teammate Fabio Borini to score against Newcastle United.

The Black Cats will take on Newcastle away from home at St. James’ Park in the Premier League next weekend.

Mannone, who joined Sunderland from Arsenal in 2013, wants his Italian compatriot to score against the Magpies.

Both Sunderland and Newcastle are struggling for survival in the Premier League, and there is a distinct possibility that the two teams could find themselves get relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

The game at St. James’ Park next Sunday is a 'six-pointer', and neither side can afford to lose it.

Playing at home will give Newcastle an advantage, and the fans will also hope that new manager Rafael Benitez will have an instant effect.

Newcastle are second from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment, while Sunderland are currently 17th in the standings.
