The Queens Park Rangers owner expressed his delight on social media after the 3-0 crushing of west London rivals Brentford.
What a win for the R's and what a week - five goals scored against two good teams, none conceded.
It shows just how good QPR can be, especially at Loftus Road.
Fernandes never seems to tweet after a loss yet always does after victory. But you can't begrudge the owner his celebrations this weekend after such a convincing display against the Bees.
Good week for me. Two wins. And good to get a derby win. 50 points. 27 to ply for. Thank you guys jimmy and Les and all the team.— Tony Fernandes (@tonyfernandes) March 12, 2016
It's unclear exactly how Ferdinand will have influenced QPR's last two wins in the short run but Fernandes clearly feels the head of football operations is doing a good job long term.
And, to his credit, two of QPR's best summer signings - Tjaronn Chery and Sebastian Polter - linked up well again against Brentford on Saturday.
Results like this hint at a definite promotion push next season. But it's now time for some results on the road.
