Robbie Fowler reacts on Twitter to Costa sending-off... compares him to Luis Suarez

The Liverpool icon took to social media after the Chelsea striker was sent off against Everton.

Robbie Fowler took to Twitter suggesting Chelsea striker Diego Costa 'definitely thought about a bite' against Everton on Saturday night.

And he compared the situation to Luis Suarez at Liverpool, when the Uruguayan received a lengthy ban for biting Branislav Ivanovic.

Suarez later committed the same offence at the World Cup against Georgio Chiellini, away from Liverpool, and received a further ban.

The Chelsea striker certainly seems like a light-weight version of Suarez at Liverpool.

He doesn't score as many goals and he lacks the bite... pun intended.

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, meanwhile, was a class above Costa on Saturday afternoon, as his double condemned his old club to an FA Cup exit to book the Toffees' place in the last four at Wembley.

Everton and Liverpool fans no doubt took plenty of delight in seeing Chelsea's main man finally sent off. And so, too, did a lot of others...
