The Polish defender may be called into action this weekend.

Arsenal take on Watford in the FA Cup tomorrow, after overcoming Hull City in a replay earlier in the week.

The Gunners are however suffering with something of a defensive shortage for the game.

Laurent Koscielny and Gabriel are both carrying injuries and Per Mertesacker is only just back from illness. That means Calum Chambers and Mertesacker are likely to start at centre-back but it seems a teenage central defensive talent might be in line for a call-up.

Bielik signed for Arsenal from Legia Warsaw last January and the 18-year-old has only played one game for Arsenal so far - in the 3-0 League Cup exit against Sheffield Wednesday.

He is likely to be in the squad for the game, although is unlikely to start.

Other youngsters were also involved for Arsenal in training. Frenchman Jeff Reine-Adelaide got involved whilst German youngster Serge Gnabry continues to put hos West Brom nightmare behind him, and get back into Arsenal first-team contention.
