Gary Lineker and Ian Wright react on Twitter to Crystal Palace win

Crystal Palace won against Reading in the FA Cup on Friday.

Tottenham Hotspur legend Gary Lineker has taken to social networking site Twitter to congratulate Crystal Palace on reaching the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Palace got the better of Reading 2-0 away from home at the Madejski Stadium in the quarter-finals of the prestigious cup competition on Friday evening.

Jake Cooper was sent off for the Royals in the 85th minute for pulling back Yannick Bolasie inside the Royals' penalty box, and Yohan Cabaye made no mistake from the resulting penalty.

Fraizer Campbell added the second for Palace in the fourth minute of injury time.

Former Tottenham striker Lineker has taken to Twitter to congratulate the Eagles, while Arsenal legend Ian Wright has revelled in his former club Palace’s progress to the semi-finals.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Madejski Stadium on Friday evening, hosts Reading had 49% of the possession, took 10 shots of which only three were on target, and earned three corners.

Visitors Palace had 51% of the possession, took 23 shots of which nine were on target, and earned 15 corners.
