The Toffees faithful have responded positively to their new owner's welcome message - but feel it could have an impact on the current manager.
Indeed, the club shared what the owner has written in this weekend's matchday programme and there was excitement among the Everton fanbase on Twitter.
The words 'winning' and 'ambition' seem to be associated with Moshiri - which is something many supporters have missed at Goodison Park over the last few years.
And many fans feel Moshiri's emphasis on success - and his opening statement to go with it - have a clear impact on current boss Roberto Martinez.
Could the Spaniard have until the end of the season to prove he is good enough to take Everton forward? Martinez has received a lot of just criticism this season and simply doesn't seem interested in either defending or actually winning football matches.
Here, then, is how Everton supporters reacted on Twitter to Moshiri's message - and what they think it means for Martinez...
So Moshiri has made a statement of intent, not one word about the manager. #EFC— John Pierce (@Abelsouthall) March 12, 2016
I just read Moshiri's message in the match day programme; he's said all the right things, and now I can't help but feel excited. #EFC— J. (@thecraicbear) March 11, 2016
Mr Moshiri may just have woken a sleeping giant. Great introduction in match program . Dare we dream .... #EFC— Graeme McVeigh (@GraemeMcV) March 11, 2016
Moshiri states EFC is about 'winning matches' first clear indication that Roberto has until end of season to show the new owner!— Jonathan Elder (@jselder) March 11, 2016
The best part of Moshiri's programme notes is the word...."Winning"— Everton Board OUT! (@EvertonBoardOUT) March 11, 2016
A word EFC board members haven't used for the past 16 years #Boss
