Celtic boss offers his strong opinion on Rangers squad

Rangers and Celtic will face each other in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup next month.

Celtic manager Ronny Deila has told The Scottish Sun that the players he has at his disposal are better than those at Rangers.

The Scottish Premiership giants and their Old Firm rivals Rangers will face each other in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup at Hampden Park in Glasgow next month.

The Bhoys are not doing so well at the moment and are facing a real challenge to retain their league crown this campaign.

As for Rangers, they are going strong in the Scottish Championship and are set to gain automatic promotion to the Scottish Premiership at the end of the season.

Deila, though, does not doubt that his Celtic players are better than those at Rangers.

“I have not trained their players or played against them so I don’t know so much - but I’m confident in my players,” the Norwegian told The Scottish Sun.

“We have international players all over the pitch so you do not have to be a scientist to say that we have better players than Rangers right now.”

Deila seems to have full confidence in his players, and rightly so. After all, Celtic do have the best squad in Scotland and are still at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.

On paper, the Bhoys are better than Rangers, but in a one-off game, there is every chance that the Gers could win.
