Tottenham suffered a disappointing defeat in Dortmund.
Tottenham were hoping for a big performance from former Bundesliga forward Heung-Min Son against Dortmund, but were left disappointed.
The South Korean knew all about their Europa League opponents from his time with Bayer Leverkusen, and with Harry Kane left on the bench, head coach Mauricio Pochettino was hoping the £22 million summer signing would step up.
The 23-year-old had not been in the best form leading into the game and this continued at the Westfalenstadion, with Spurs failing to breach the Dortmund defence in a 3-0 loss.
Son's biggest 'contribution' was when he was fouled in the box late on by Sven Bender, but the referee failed to award a spot kick and he was substituted minutes later. A penalty could have changed the complexion of the tie and Spurs can consider themselves unfortunate not to have got a lifeline of an away goal.
Son touched the ball 39 times in his 75 minutes on the pitch, contributing one shot on target and no key passes.
It was a game where none of the Tottenham attackers particularly stepped up, with Nacer Chadli substituted after 57 minutes and youngster Josh Onomah looking like the game was too much too soon.
Here is a look at how fans reacted to Son's performance...

Tonight proved we haven't got the squad to compete in more than one competition like everyone says we have. Son not good enough #THFC— Adam Elliott (@TheAdamElliott) March 10, 2016
Are we at the stage with Son where he's now in performance debt? #THFC— Brett Nurse (@brnurse) March 10, 2016
