In a press release, Richard Marsh of Ladbrokes News said: "The writing had been on the wall for McClaren for some time and it now looks just as likely that he ends up in the Big Brother house as a Premier League dugout by next season."
The latest odds are:
Aston Villa - 6/1
Leeds - 10/1
Sunderland - 12/1
Middlesbrough - 12/1
West Brom - 14/1
Everton - 33/1
England manager - 500/1
What an intriguing prospect each would be. It's almost impossible seeing him at Sunderland considering his employment at Newcastle and the job Sam Allardyce is doing with the Black Cats.
But how would Aston Villa fans feel about McClaren taking over next season? The former England boss was absolutely hopeless at Newcastle but some may argue he's a better fit in the Championship.
And how would McClaren do at Leeds? It's easy to imagine Massimo Cellino sacking the 54-year-old shortly after hiring him...
Derby County and Nottingham Forest fans may tell you McClaren isn't even good enough for the second tier, of course, and right now it's hard to envisage the ex-England manager ever doing well again!
Aston Villa, Leeds and Sunderland fans, though, be on guard...
