HITC Sport understands League Two hopefuls are set to sign striker on loan.
Plymouth Argyle have agreed a deal to sign Fleetwood Town striker Jamille Matt on loan, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Matt has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the Fleetwood side this season and he spent a two-month spell on loan at Stevenage earlier this season.
The 26-year-old scored one goal in eight appearances during his time at Stevenage before returning to Fleetwood in January.
Matt has made just four appearances since his return to Highbury and Fleetwood boss Steven Pressley is happy to let the striker go out on loan after bringing in the likes of Wes Burns and Shola Ameobi in recent weeks to bolster his attacking options.
A number of League Two clubs are understood to have expressed an interest in the former Kidderminster forward, but Plymouth have won the race for his signature.
Plymouth boss Derek Adams is keen to add to his squad before the loan window closes later this month as he looks to maintain their push for promotion to League One.
Matt will become Plymouth's second loan signing of the week following the arrival of midfielder Jordan Houghton from Chelsea.
