Micky Hazard criticises Tottenham full-backs on Twitter... but fans blame someone else

Borussia Dortmund beat Tottenham 3-0 in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Tottenham Hotspur icon Micky Hazard felt the north London side's full-backs were 'far, far too narrow' against Borussia Dortmund on Thursday night.

Indeed, Tottenham lost 3-0 in Dortmund during the first leg of their last-16 Europa League tie.

The result leaves their place in Europe in serious doubt this season, with only a historic comeback being able to save them at White Hart Lane.

And Hazard was critical of Spurs' full-backs after the three-goal defeat.

However, a number of Tottenham fans responded pointing the finger of blame elsewhere on Twitter.

Some did agree that Kieran Trippier was poor but the majority suggested Tottenham's midfield did not offer their back four anywhere near enough protection.

Tom Carroll was criticised but Ryan Mason, in particular, was put under serious scrutiny by supporters on social media.

Mauricio Pochettino was questioned for his team selection - and here's how Spurs fans responded to Hazard's full-back suggestions...
