When asked whether the Hammers can defeat United, Lanzini said: “It will be a great match. We know if we stick to the plan and play well, then we can win this game. We want to excite the fans with an entertaining performance.”
The Hammers head to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, looking to continue their great season by securing passage to the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
The two teams have met once so far this season, drawing 0-0 at Old Trafford, and the return leg in the league is scheduled for the middle of April.
Despite that stalemate, West Ham should consider their chances against the Red Devils this weekend.
Both teams have been decimated by injuries this term, and Slaven Bilic will have to name a makeshift defence once again, but the strength of his attacking players could blow United away.
The Red Devils have looked poor in their last three games - a victory over Watford, and two losses to West Brom and Liverpool - and West Ham should capitalise on this poor form by running riot at Old Trafford.
Lanzini certainly believes the Hammers can do it, knowing that if they stick to the gameplan which has worked so successfully this season, West Ham will secure a memorable victory over United on Saturday.
