Struggling Premier League side Aston Villa appear to be planning for the future.

Ian Taylor has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to the boardroom shake-up at Aston Villa.

Former Villa player and manager Brian Little will joined the Premier League club’s board.

Former Manchester City chairman David Bernstein will also be part of the boardroom, as announced on the Villans’ official website on Friday evening.

Taylor, who is a Villa legend, is delighted to see Little join the club, while former Football Association communications director Adrian Bevington is pleased to see the struggling side bring in Bernstein.

Villa are at the foot of the Premier League table at the moment with just 16 points from 29 matches.

Remi Garde’s side are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

The Villans will return to action on Sunday evening when they take on Tottenham Hotspur at Villa Park in the Premier League.

Villa are unlikely to win against Spurs, who are in the running for the league title this season.
