Queens Park Rangers should be boosted by the return to contention of midfielder Massimo Luongo ahead of Saturday's west London derby at home to Brentford, manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has confirmed to the R's official site.
However, the Dutchman had less positive news about the fitness of defender Grant Hall.
Both players sat out Tuesday's 2-0 win against Derby County with foot injuries, having been regulars since Hasselbaink's December appointment.
Pre-Derby, Luongo had played in nine straight Championship matches since the turn of the year, providing two assists in that time, while Hall had started every single league game under Hasselbaink.
But after revealing that the former "should be" available for selection ahead of the Bees' visit to Loftus Road, the 43-year-old said of the Hoops' other absentee: "Grant is going to be out for a few weeks."
Hall was signed by Hasselbaink's predecessor Chris Ramsey for an undisclosed fee last summer, after the pair had worked together at Tottenham Hotspur.
Luongo, who is also ex-Spurs, also arrived during Ramsey's tenure from League One Swindon Town, as part of an undisclosed double deal involving fellow midfielder Ben Gladwin.
QPR, who are currently nine points off the play-offs, could move up to tenth in the Championship with a win on saturday.
